We came here for a family walk/explore over Christnas and it was lovely. Really well looked after and lots of walking routes. We went to the safe after which had a good offer of breakfast foods and lunch options available. My children also loved the park on site

A lovely place, we stayed there in a very nice cabin with a hot tub, well all cabins have hot tubs? And gas bbq's, all on verandah's!!! With table and chairs, everything is provided, even bbq cooking utensils and a fridge for keeping your wine at the right temperature, We stay with family and had a great time, done a lovely walk around the reservoir/lake, about 4 1/2 ish miles, the weather was kind for us all, witch made the trip all the more enjoyable we could see the far end of the reservoir from the cabin? And the view was lovely.

This is a great place if you have kids or don't fancy off roading too much but enjoy the woods. It has lots of accessible pathways and has some lovely little waterfalls and rivers. There are rentable cabins, and there's a visitor centre and a cafe. Disabled toilets and lots of activities are here too. Rent a bike, archery or throw an axe. If that's not your scene then have a lovely scenic walk through the woods. Lots of quiet, just the birds to listen to.

Incredible experience, staff were super friendly and welcoming. Cafe had excellent vegan options. I managed to have vegan waffles and if go back just for them again. Super dog friendly.
