About Seaspray Guest House

Seaspray occupies a grand Victorian terraced house built in 1870, converted into a three-star quality bed and breakfast while keeping many of its original period features. It sits a gentle stroll from Criccieth's centre, within easy reach of the town's cafes, pubs and the castle.

Rooms are spotlessly kept and comfortable, several with views out to sea, and the owners have a strong local reputation for friendliness and practical advice on where to eat and what to see nearby. A cooked breakfast is included, and free WiFi and parking are available.

Consistently high guest ratings make this one of the best-regarded small B&Bs in Criccieth, particularly suited to couples wanting a personal, well-run stay within walking distance of the beach and castle.

Seaspray Guest House is one of best places to stay in Weymouth. Mark was a superb host and very welcoming, polite, helpful and pleasant to talk to. Food was very tasty and well prepared, excellent choice of different things for breakfast like fruit, cereal, full english breakfast etc. Rooms were very comfy and with having everything you'll need. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in Weymouth

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay at The Sea Spray Hotel, Weymouth! We had the most amazing stay at The Sea Spray Hotel — it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and the whole experience had such a warm, personal touch that set it apart from anywhere else we’ve stayed. A huge thank you to Tim, who went above and beyond to look after us throughout our stay. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made such a difference. He even surprised us with balloons and a lovely card in our room for my husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion feel really special. It’s those little touches that show how much pride Tim takes in making every guest feel valued. Our room was spotless, beautifuldecorated. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and full of choice — the perfect start to each day. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better either, right by the beach and just a short stroll into town. We’ve stayed in many places in Weymouth over the years, but The Sea Spray Hotel truly stands out for its warmth, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Tim made us feel like more than just guests — he made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be back and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. 🌊✨

The non sea view room is very small and stuffy with a view to a wall and a main road . I felt like I was in a prison cell and could not bare to stay there for another night so left early. The room was not significantly cheaper than the seaview rooms( that looked nice ) and a world away. The bathroom only had a carex hand wash , no shower gel and they had left all their cleaning products in the bathroom . The toilet lid had black spots on it ... not very inviting! The hosts were not welcoming at all, very unkind to my 4 year old .. telling him to be quiet when he was just talking in a normal 4 y old voice , sit down and ' not touch leaflets with his dirty hands ' which were not dirty ! Also rude to me .. telling me off for not leaving my breakfast request the night before ( so instead of cooking 2 x English breakfasts they only had to make 1 scrambled eggs ) and complaining he had been up since 7 am! The full English all tasted like watery mushrooms .
