Camping, touring, and glamping on the Glanusk Estate in the Brecon Beacons! Onsite fishing, shooting, and a sauna.

About Glanusk Caravan Park

Set within the grand Glanusk Estate in the Brecon Beacons, this well-regarded site near Crickhowell offers a surprisingly varied stay. Beyond the usual touring and camping pitches, there's glamping accommodation, plus rather unusual extras for a caravan park: on-site fishing, shooting, and even a sauna to ease those hiking muscles. The estate backdrop gives it a touch more character than your standard stopover.

Facilities cover the basics well – electric hook-ups, clean showers and toilets, WiFi throughout, and dogs are welcome. With a 4.8 rating from visitors, most find it a polished, family-friendly base for exploring Powys, though it's worth noting this is more country estate than budget campground, so expect prices to reflect the setting and amenities.

Lovely location in the Brecon Beacons, with a view of sugar loaf mountain and plenty of walks right on your doorstep. There is the Canal which is accessed from the dog walking field (next to the camping field) where you can stroll along the canal side for miles in both directions. There is also a river walk on the other side of the camping field which will take you to the tower and also the Cider mill, 20 minute walk along the river and through some wooded area. The facilities are clean and modern. There are only 2 washing up sinks, but they were never that busy. There is also an on site sauna which is free to use and open daily. There is no on site shop, so if you haven’t got enough supplies with you, it’s a trip out to the shops locally. The pitches are huge, plenty of space to really spread out and enjoy. Your dog will love this place!

Lovely campsite, very clean eco-conscious toilet block with hot showers. Very friendly and welcoming owners and a gorgeous estate location. Quiet and peaceful (disregarding the extraordinary morning chorus from the local birdlife -which is totally delightful, but you might genuinely need some earplugs if your tent is close to the trees :)

Can't sing the praises of this site enough. Beautiful location lots of walks. It's dog friendly but not in the river. As it's a big fly fishing place Staff are super helpful. River and canal walks to Crickhowell facilities are better than home. Something to be aware of. The site provides washing up liquid in order to preserve its sewage system which is eco friendly. The whole site is pristine well worth a visit.

Once again, we were made most welcome on this lovely secluded site on the grounds of the beautiful Glanusk Estate with acres of beauty to explore. We returned to use the site as a base for an event and this time we were rewarded with glorious weather. We had around 30 pitches booked for 5 nights or more. The owners provided us with an excellent indoor space to allow us to run presentations and workshops in comfort on the only poor weather day. There have been big improvements to the outdoor washup area since last year which is good. Some of our group stated that the campsite toilets and showers were the best they have come across. I could not disagree. We hope to return next year. We will be back next year! Thankyou.
