Set just outside Tretower village, this tiny certificated location offers just a handful of non-electric grass pitches for self-contained tourers, so expect proper peace and a genuinely rural atmosphere. Inquisitive Hereford cattle may peer over from the neighbouring field, and free-range chickens wander the site adding to the farmyard charm.
A tributary of the River Usk meanders through the property, offering the chance to spot kingfishers if you're patient, while lanes and bridleways fan out in all directions – Pen y Fan and Sugar Loaf are both within reach for more ambitious walkers. Note there are no toilet or shower facilities here, but the site's position just off the A479 makes access straightforward, and Crickhowell's shops and pubs are only five minutes by car when you need supplies or a proper meal.
