What visitors say

Mark Vivas Villota

Used to be such a wonderful place back then, with its (previously) exquisitely large range of stores, events and seasonal decorations, it’s a shame seeing many stores close their Whitgift locations and I’ll miss this place when it closes.

I have visited the Whitgift Centre a few times but is so sad walking through it and see shop after shop closed. I'm sure management could attract more business to get the centre as it used to be.

The Whitgift Centre hardly has any shops in here just a few like card factory, boots and M&S. It's so sad to see how this Centre has declined over the years. This use to be a very popular and busy shopping centre back in the 90s and early 00s now stand many empty shops and like a ghost town in the Whitgift not worth coming here at all.

I stopped going to Whitgift centre for quite a while, as the place just reminds me of how high street shops are dieing!! But today, when I went after this long period, was welcomed by these paintings - one of Picasso and didn't catch the other one. Also, noticed ice cream and coffee shops opposite of Primark in Centrale. This gave me little hope that the place is reviving 🤞
