Branthwaite Cottages - The Hayloft

The Hayloft is a single-bedroom conversion within a rural complex near Wigton. Everything sits on one floor: an open-plan living and dining space with kitchen, a bedroom with an en-suite roll-top bath, plus a separate shower room and toilet. Underfloor heating keeps things warm; wifi, electricity and towels are included. One dog can stay free of charge.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer all present. The bedroom holds a super kingsize bed. A shared patio with furniture and a barbecue lies across the lane, beside a walled river. Private parking for one car is on site. No smoking inside. The setting is genuinely quiet: Branthwaite sits on the Caldbeck Fells with country lanes suitable for walking or cycling, and the village of Caldbeck itself—which has a pub, tea room and shops—is three miles away.
