Brasscam

Brasscam works well for families or groups wanting space to spread out across three floors, with a king bedroom and ensuite on the top level, two further doubles below, and two bathrooms between them. The ground floor, completely refurbished in 2024, centres on a kitchen with everything needed for self-catering—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine—and a comfortable living room with a wood burner looking out to the fells. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; logs for the burner are available locally.

The cottage sits in Borrowdale Valley near Seatoller, on the approach to the Honister Pass. From the front door, you have direct access to fell walking—Glaramara, Great Gable and Scafell Pike are all within reach. Keswick is seven miles away, Derwentwater and Buttermere roughly three. A pub lies within a mile. The garden has a sitting area and you can park three cars on site; an electric charging point is available at cost. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
