It includes an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as a wood-burning stove. Buttermere also boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace area equipped with furniture and private parking for one car. Sitting within ten acres of land, the cottage is surrounded by woodland, meadows and a pond with an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep. Buttermere Cottage is three miles from the towns of Cockermouth and Lorton, both filled with shops and restaurants, and just a six-mile drive from the quieter western lakes, including Ennerdale, winner of Britain's Best View. Fully equipped for the disabled with Mobility grade 1 and 2 awarded and therefore suitable for accompanied wheelchair users (Please note there is not complete provision for wheelchair users on their own). Cots and highchairs available. Nearest shops and restaurants are 3 miles away in Cockermouth.
