Violet Bank

Violet Bank is a single-storey property on the edge of Cockermouth, with a wood-fired hot tub in the garden and countryside views towards the Cumbrian fells. The whole place is yours alone, spread across one level: four bedrooms (a kingsize with ensuite, another kingsize, a double, and a twin), two bathrooms, a living room with woodburner, dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch. Parking for four cars sits on the drive, and the front garden has a sitting-out area.

Everything you need is included—wifi, electricity, bed linen, towels, and the initial fuel for the woodburner. The layout suits families or groups who want to avoid stairs; the hot tub means you can relax in the garden after exploring. Cockermouth town centre is within walking distance, and the Lake District National Park lies beyond. One dog is welcome. No smoking indoors.
