Greenbank Cottage is a one-bedroom base for two in Little Broughton, on the western edge of the Lake District. The cottage sits on the ground floor with an open-plan living area, kitchen, and utility room; upstairs is a king bedroom and bathroom with a bath and shower. An electric woodburner heats the main space. The kitchen has an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook properly rather than rely on takeaways. Essentials like electricity, heating fuel, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered in the price.
Outside, a enclosed rear garden has seating and furniture; there is also a bike store and on-road parking. One dog can stay without extra charge. The cottage does not permit smoking. Little Broughton gives quick access to Lakeland fell walks and the Solway Coast; cycle routes run from the door. The village itself is small and rural—this is a place to settle in by the fire after a day out rather than somewhere with pubs and shops on the doorstep.
