We had the most incredible stay at Castle Guards Retreat for my wife’s 40th birthday. The pods are absolutely beautiful — spotlessly clean and incredibly cosy. Waking up to the most stunning view in the morning was amazing. The wood-fired hot tub was the real standout for us. Sitting under the open sky, soaking in the warmth while enjoying the scenery. Thank you for helping make my wife’s 40th birthday so memorable. We’ll definitely be recommending Castle Guards Retreat and would love to return in the future.

We had a fabulous stay. We had everything we needed as well as lots of extras. Emma was extremely accommodating and helpful and even made the effort to send us back something we left behind. We had a fabulous holiday and we happily stay again and recommend.

We loved our stay! Everything about Castle Guards is excellent, from Emma's communication to the location and standard of the pods. The pods themselves are so well equipped, stocked with everything we could possibly need, including an air fryer, a fan and board games. The water pressure in the shower was great, toiletries were provided, everything was very clean. We were also impressed with the welcome pack and the variety of the stock in the honesty shop! Perfect location near to keswick and a short destination for some takeaways if you don't want to cook. We got a dominos that took about 20 mins from ordering. The hot tub was lovely, so clean, warm and relaxing, we'll be back!

We booked a night away at Castle Guards Farm Retreat for my girlfriends birthday and we had an amazing experience! Was such a lovely cabin very clean and tidy! It was even seasonal themed which made it extra cosy! Lovely views, great location, such a relaxing experience. Emma was very welcoming when we arrived. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning again! 5*
