Cockermouth and the Lake District National Park lie within reach of Low Fold, a single-bedroom cottage in Tallentire. The setting works well for exploring the fells and valleys on foot or by car, or for a quieter break in rural Cumbria. Tallentire Hall is nearby if you want to venture out to a local landmark.
The cottage is yours alone, with a ground-floor open-plan space that brings the living area, dining space and kitchen together. You get a super kingsize bed (or two singles if preferred), a woodburner for cooler evenings, and a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. An enclosed patio with garden furniture overlooks the countryside. One car parks on site; Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, plus initial logs for the fire.
Two small dogs stay free. The cottage does not allow smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.

Pure bliss! We've stayed at Low Fold Holiday Cottages twice in the last four months. It's cosy, comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up to make you relax as soon as you step inside. The location is great with Cockermouth being only a few minutes drive away and the Lake District within easy reach. As an added bonus, it's dog friendly, not that you'd know if you arrived without a dog because the accommodation is so clean and well looked after.
