Rubby Banks Retreat

Rubby Banks Retreat is a terraced cottage in Cockermouth with everything you need for self-catering already in place. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker and coffee machine, so you can cook anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, along with a welcome pack to get you started. A washing machine is available if you need it.

The layout is straightforward: downstairs has a living room and the kitchen/dining space; upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed, the other with a double bunk (double below, single above)—and a bathroom with both bath and shower. Outside, an enclosed back garden has garden furniture and a sitting area. There is private parking for one car on site. The cottage does not permit smoking.

Cockermouth town centre is within walking distance, with independent shops, cafés and pubs nearby. The River Cocker runs alongside the property, and the Lake District lies close enough for day trips to places like Bassenthwaite Lake and Buttermere.
