1. The interior is attractive and neat. 2. Every room has en-suit toilet and bathroom. 3. Massive living / lounge is perfect for a large group. 4. Two separate dining facilities, one in the kitchen and one very large dining hall. 5. Superstores are only few minutes walk. Would love to give 5star, however 1. The property is not accessible. 2. The entry lane (/road) is very narrow and sloped. 3. No game facilities. 4. No lawn. 5. Complaining neighbours.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean and bright! The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and plenty of choice for your breakfast with unlimited tea/coffee and toast and all served up in a very sunny room...we felt very much at home and definitely a brilliant nights sleep in a wonderfully cosy bed. The room itself had everything you could possibly need...even decaf tea...and again was bright and sunny and exceptionally clean, considering our room was main road facing, it was very quiet and the place itself is within walking distance of all the local amenities ...but shush...don't tell anyone as we want to make sure we can always get a room to stay in whenever we get back to Cockermouth.

Stayed for a couple of nights here mid-week, it's a great location a few steps from the market place. A quiet, clean and tidy room with a nice bathroom and comfy bed. Super fast internet access via WiFi from the room was a bonus too. Very friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast cooked to order was a great way to start the day! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a couple if nights while my wife attended Woolfest 2018. This us a great little B&B, the rooms are clean and comfortable, we stayed in a basic double room with en-suite bathroom. The owners were really nice and friendly and we had a lovely time. I would definitely stay here again the breakfast was great
