We've just returned from a fantastic break at The Parlour, Springfield Barns and we honestly couldn't have asked for more! The Barn itself is one of three award winning conversions and it's easy to see why, it's full of charm and character with high-quality finishes throughout. Inside, it was spotless, modern and beautifully furnished - the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome basket which was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the rest of the stay - The log burner made the evenings feel extra cosy and the whole place had a real home - from - home feel. One of the real highlights for us was how dog friendly it is, our dog was warmly welcomed and having our own private garden to relax in was a huge bonus - perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks or just letting the dog enjoy some space. The setting is peaceful and picturesque surrounded by beautiful countryside, an ideal base for exploring the Shropshire area. Donna, the owner, was absolutely superb - friendly, welcoming and genuinely keen to make sure we were happy. Donna lives on site with her family in another converted barn and even took the time to come and introduce herself, which was a lovely touch. If you are looking for a peaceful countryside escape, with a great host and dog friendly comfort, Springfield Barns is a hidden gem. We'll definitely be returning!

We stayed in the Dairy between 16th-23 May. What a Gem. Perfectly placed to enjoy and explore beautiful Shropshire. The barn was amazing, spotless clean with everything you could need. Lovely little garden across the courtyard where you can watch the sun go down. There’s a huge field where your dog can run free, we couldn’t get our little Border out of it. Donna the host is a font of all knowledge regarding where to eat, drink, walk or shop. Lovely lady and happy to help. Fully recommend Springfield Barns.

Stayed at the Barns early in April. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. And we were very lucky with the weather. A welcoming pack was available and was a nice touch. Good location in the countryside but not too far from Shrewsbury and other spots to visit. Nearby eateries very good and reasonably priced. Dog made very welcome witch always helps. Would stay again

We spent a week at the Parlour during bonfire week to escape the relentless fireworks where we live as my dog is petrified of them. So glad to have found a very peaceful location. There was one organised display for 30 minutes on bonfire weekend and we could hardly hear anything from the barn so it was a great choice for us. Donna is a very helpful host and communication was great throughout the booking process. We had a few nice chit chats during our stay there. Lovely lady. The Parlour was lovely and very nicely decorated. The very well equipped kitchen and a full size fridge/ freezer made cooking meals a breeze. The log burner made the place extra cosy. The bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet at night! Location is great. Many walks nearby and plenty to do in the area and further afield. A lovely part of the world. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place and we would certainly return.
