Everything you need for self-catering is provided: a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine; a living space with Freeview Smart TV; a double bedroom; and a shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Essentials including bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are covered. One car can park on-site. The property is non-smoking.
Bowness-on-Solway sits within the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a strong base for walkers and cyclists. The village lies on Hadrian's Cycleway (route 72), and the studio appeals to those following the coast-to-coast walking route as well as anyone exploring the wall itself, Carlisle, or the northern reaches of the Lake District—all within thirty minutes' drive. Sea fishing is available on-site, and the complex has a bistro and gym. The complex also includes a small visitors' centre with a scale model of the Roman fort and information about the excavations conducted during building work.
