Wickhams View works well for small families, couples, or friends wanting their own space in Keswick without the need for multiple rooms. The first-floor apartment sleeps four: a kingsize bed, a day bed, and a pull-out single (suitable for children), so there's flexibility depending on who's visiting. You get a proper kitchen with gas cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, a living room with smart TV, and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; parking for two cars is on site.
The location puts you within walking distance of Keswick's shops, restaurants and pubs—the town centre spreads out around you rather than requiring a trek. Hope Park and Derwentwater are each five minutes on foot. From here you can access the fell walks that encircle Keswick and routes into Borrowdale. The bus station is also nearby if you're travelling without a car. One point to note: the staircase has wide spindle gaps and is steep and narrow in places. No smoking is allowed in the property.

We've been to many Keswick holiday rentals over the past 24 years and " Wickham's view" comes out in the top two! It was a pleasant surprise, and certainly a return visit next Spring is on the cards. The accomodation was very comfortable, especially the kitchen which was kitted out extremely well. The separate, spacious living room was comfortable with an assortment of books and DVDs to use. All in all a first rate one bedroomed holiday home . There's lots to see and do in Keswick. There's plenty of cafes, Pubs and assorted shops to visit. The Alhambra picture house is still running , now by volunteers. We saw the recent film there " Wicked!" . The Apartment is One minutes ' walk from a wonderful cafe and about about 5 minutes walk from Keswick s main square. We found that there was no need to use our car at all , especially as there was one parking space dedicated to Wickham's view!

Beautiful flat, very comfortable as always. Very handy for central Keswick, and very easy to walk to the lake.
