On high ground near Gosforth, Wind Hall Log Cabin commands views across Morecambe Bay toward the Isle of Man. The single-storey timber building sits above open countryside, with a lawned garden and sitting area to the rear.

Inside, the open-plan ground floor combines living, dining and kitchen in one space. A wood burner anchors the seating area; the kitchen has an electric oven and hob for proper cooking. Two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, and a shower room with walk-in enclosure make up the rest. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, with initial fuel for the burner supplied. The wood-fired hot tub seats four and occupies the private garden; there is parking for two cars.

This is an adults-only property with no smoking inside. One dog is welcome. The cabin suits couples or two pairs of friends wanting a quiet base in the Lakes without shared facilities or neighbours close by.
