About Seven Acres Caravan Park

Seven Acres Caravan Park is a small caravan site near Ravenglass in the Lake District's western foothills. The park suits touring caravanners looking for a base to explore the area, with shower facilities on site for comfort between days out.

Ravenglass itself, just up the road, is a coastal village with a long beach and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway nearby – a narrow-gauge steam railway that runs inland into the hills. The wider area offers access to fells, woodland walks and the quieter western side of the Lake District, away from the main tourist hotspots.

Lovely quiet site perfect for a base to explore the west lakes and coast. There are limited facilities on the site. No entertainment, just a laundrette. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are local shops in both directions 5 mins in car. There is a petrol station at holmrook. If you have kids I can recommend the newly refurbished playground at seascale on the sea front. If you like it quite and are on a budget I'd recommend this park to you.

Caravans are neat. Living room is spacious and beds are on point. Great sites around this place. No wi-fi but outdoors out weigh that. Boiler is nice too.

Very basic but peaceful. Aged shower block. The water was very hot but showers did more spitting than pouring. Cubicles were always spotlessly clean. Barely anyone around. Shower/toilet block has unfortunately been left to deteriorate. Hopefully, this will receive a concentrated upgrade very soon! Not something anyone would want to use. I certainly didn't.
