Wrynose Cottage stands on the grounds of Bridge End Farm, a Grade II listed complex in Eskdale Valley near Boot. The cottage itself has character: oak beams run through the rooms, and Eskdale stone is exposed throughout. A single step leads to the glazed double door entrance. You have the whole place to yourself, with private parking for one car.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living and dining room with a TV, and a kitchen equipped for cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and all the basics. There is a bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Upstairs, the bedroom contains a king-size bed. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the utility room, though these are shared with other properties on site.
The surrounding grounds span two acres, with a paddock, sitting-out area, garden furniture and a barbecue; these amenities are also shared. A fenced river runs through the grounds. The Boot Inn sits within a mile, and the valley's fell walks are immediate. Non-smokers only.
