Loved this spot for me and my partner. Great to have a covered area to hang out in case of bad weather. Showers are lively and hot and all facilities well taken care of and clean. Free fire pits and wood available to buy. Jonty was great, good knowledge of the area and had us chuckling from the start. Amazing views and a pub 10 mins walk away with great food and massive portions. We will be back for sure.

Myself and friends stayed this weekend and had an amazing time. Close to great places to walk and great scenery. Pubs/cafes close by for bite to eat and 10 min drive to Seascale which is a local seaside town with a pub/beer garden overlooking the beach. Staff at the Barn campsite were very friendly and attentive, they also offer very clean amenities. Will definitely be returning.

The non electric sizes are small but other than that, you have an amazing stay. I had a euro hike air 4L tent so survived! We stayed whilst storm Dave came so it was eventful! Showers are clean and very basic but everything you need for a couple of nights stay! The beach is a 20 minute drive which is amazing with an unreal chippy and ice cream parlour!

Lovely campsite.Jonnty the owner is on the ball making sure everything is clean and working. Hot showers Clean toilets Great views from anywhere on the campsite. Helpful and friendly host that is an ambassador for the Lake District.
