Great campsite at just £10 a night. Mark (the host) was very welcoming and ran through the amenities and local pub opening times. Water though the toilets and showers are pretty grim.. But at least the water is hot. But for £10 a night I'm happy to put up with that.

It was like walking into a horror film. £10 pp plus extra for dog. Barely a level bit on site. The facilities, toilets and showers were possible the worst I have ever seen. Just shocking. I can only imagine people here are rating it higher because they are fully self contained in their own caravan without having to use anything else. I wish I had took pictures to share on here and so people understand how truly awful it was when I tell them. We went up to the other campsite up the road. Amazing facilities, basically the same price. Better views. Just as quiet. Avoid this place at all costs.

Been here two decades ago, had a nice stay and excellent breakfast. Had to be creative to level my old camper.

A beautiful location and very basic, rustic site. Having parked in the field near some other vans, we made our way to the farmhouse and met the owner, Mick and paid the very reasonable £7 pppn fee. We pointed to where we’d left the van and asked “is it ok to pitch up there?” To which the reply came “I don’t give a sh*te, we don’t have any rules and regulations here :)?!”. We were shown the very very basic facilities (the mens’ urinals being an outdoor trough next to the coal bunker) and left to our own devices. Dent is a lovely village and the site is perfectly located for exploring the wonderful countryside. If you’re looking for a scenic place to stay for the night Conder farm does the job, however if you’re looking for modern, appealing campsite facilities, you’re probably better off elsewhere :).
