Fantastic location in every respect. Cottage clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The surroundings are beautiful and the animals and birds on the farm are incredible. Owl's, a donkey, Alpacas and a super cute cat. Convenient for the main attractions with Keswick about 20 minutes drive. Highly recommend

Just back from another lovely stay. If you want a peaceful location in the Lake District then this is your place. Perfect location for wainwright bagging. This is our go to place in lakes, the staff are so welcoming and on hand if needed situated on a working farm it offers the perfect escape. Badgers den has everything you need for your stay it is always well presented on arrival with a welcome pack. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a wonderful place to stay and the cottages are lovely inside and lot of room so clean and the welcome pack they leave you is wonderful too they are really friendly people and helpful too nothing is a problem This is the 7th time we have stayed and will be back for more stays it's really good value for the money thank you for a wonderful stay yours grateful Stephen Halliwell and Janice Mackenzie from Clayton-le-Moors Accrington

A lovely site with a friendly welcome. Great view and a nice farm walk round the lake. The shower block is new and well equipped with clean toilets and high pressure showers. However, the showers could do with a deep clean. There is the feeling of somewhere that has grown beyond the capability to keep it maintained. There's also a slightly out of place private zoo with exotic owls and other birds.
