Each of the seven rooms at Link House comes with its own en-suite bathroom and views over either the garden or the surrounding mountains, along with drinks provided in the room and free WiFi throughout. It's a small enough set-up that the welcome feels personal, with staff on hand around the clock and happy to share advice on where to walk or what to see nearby.
Breakfast is cooked fresh each morning with a good range of choices, and a packed lunch can be arranged for anyone heading out for the day. Outside, there's a garden and picnic area with outdoor seating for taking in the mountain scenery, plus free on-site parking across the property's two floors.
Set near Bassenthwaite Lake outside Keswick, Link House is well placed for walking and cycling routes, fishing, and watersports, with pubs, restaurants and other attractions within easy reach for evenings after a day exploring the Lake District National Park.

We enjoyed two nights in this lovely house in a quieter corner of the Lake District. Pete and Katie were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautifully presented and allowed us a fabulous view of Sale Fell. We took a walk up after Pete had shared a map and pointed out the best places en route to stop and take in the views. Breakfast was delicious and the table was perfectly set! Lots of little touches that really enhanced our short stay and made me smile. Especially the butter portions under their own mini cloche! I would recommend Link House. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.

Great little guest house in an amazing location with both Cockermouth and Keswick short drives away. Good views of Skiddaw from the house and numerous locations nearby. The room was good as was the breakfast Pete and Katie served in the morning. Highly recommended.

What a perfect stay we had. It all started with a lovely welcome from our perfect hosts, Pete is a mine of information about where to go locally. It's a beautiful house, elegantly decorated and very comfortable. We felt at home immediately. I loved sitting in the bay window looking at the breathtaking views. There was plenty of room for two. Comfortable beds and a fabulous freshly cooked breakfast. We are definitely are looking forward to returning.
