About Hall Garth Hotel Darlington, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Hall Garth Hotel Darlington suits a fairly broad mix of travellers: golfers after a round and a soak, couples planning a wedding, business guests needing meeting space, and anyone wanting a quiet base in County Durham with parking sorted. With 56 rooms spread across two floors, it has the scale to handle groups and events without losing the feel of a country hotel.

Rooms come with air conditioning and drinks laid on, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Facilities extend well beyond the bedroom, with an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa and sauna, plus a hot tub for unwinding after a day on the course. A restaurant and bar handle food and drink on site, with breakfast included, and there's outdoor seating in the garden for warmer days. Business services, meeting rooms and porter and concierge support make it workable for corporate visits and weddings alike, while an electric vehicle charge point and free on-site parking cover practical needs.

The hotel sits in Coatham Mundeville, close to Darlington, with pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel. Free WiFi and laundry service round out the practical side, and luggage storage is useful for anyone breaking up a longer journey. It's a straightforward, well-equipped option rather than a boutique escape, and it does what it sets out to do.
