I visit the restaurant each week as part of a walk-and-talk group and the staff are always so helpful and welcoming. There’s generally a group of 10+ of us who come for drinks (always lovely) and every week we are welcomed and although, probably a bit of a pain, we are never made to feel like an inconvenience at all. Lovely staff who create a lovely atmosphere

Quintessential English seaside hotel. After living overseas for a long time you miss these types of traditional english places. Lovely views, location and facilities. Rooms are quaint and comfortably setup. Downstairs restaurant has seaview terraces and bar. Food and drinks are excellent with nice friendly staff. Can't wait to come back.

View was stunning, food was delicious but the service needs alot of work. Went to the bar and ordered a drink, asked if we could sit anywhere? Yes was the answer, no question of were we having food. Had to get our own menus, ordered the food - i questioned if the goats cheese burger was veggie as its not listed as veggie on the menu- which it is. All the food came out quite quickly. After eating, our finished plates sat in front of us for an hour until I moved them myself to a different table. Its the little things but they add up and make a difference to the dining experience.

A very welcoming hotel, the staff are friendly to humans and dogs alike. The room we stayed in was enormous and luxurious, with a pod coffee machine and a big bathroom. I subtracted one point because the bacon seemed a bit tired by 9am, the breakfast was otherwise OK and prompt.
