About Breedon Hall

Breedon Hall is a period property on Main St in Derby, its historic proportions giving it a character that sets it apart from more standard B&B stays. With only five rooms, it keeps things intimate, and each comes with an en-suite bathroom, drinks and views over the garden.

Guests get breakfast included, free WiFi throughout, and access to a small spa and sauna on-site, a nice touch for a property of this size. There's a garden with outdoor seating for warmer days, 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals, and luggage storage if you're exploring before or after your room is ready. Pets are welcome, and free on-site parking makes driving to Derby straightforward.

The surrounding area has plenty to fill a stay, with a pub, restaurant, golf course, fishing and watersports all nearby, along with entertainment options for evenings out. It suits those wanting a characterful base in Derby rather than a large hotel, with the trade-off of a smaller number of rooms and a more personal pace throughout.

Very comfortable beautifully decorated rooms. Comfy bed in the Belvoir room. Quiet and views over the garden. A neat and effective fan provided for hot weather and all essentials. Large bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Delicious breakfasts. Friendly helpful owners. Highly recommend. It is convenient for visiting National Trust properties and Derby. Breedon is a pretty village with two excellent pubs. Recommend the 3 Horseshoes.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at Breedon Hall this weekend. Charles and Charlotte are amazing hosts and couldn’t be more welcoming. We really loved our room, it had a lovely country house feel and overlooked the beautiful walled garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable with quality linen and the bathroom well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the main kitchen, it was just like visiting friends. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend to others.

Our recent stay at Breedon Hall Country House Hotel exceeded our expectations! Charles and Charlotte were incredibly welcoming, and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated overlooking the garden. If you appreciate old houses and are looking for a relaxing getaway this is perfect. We took the dogs who were also made welcome. Breakfast was fabulous, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble. The hotel’s tranquil setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
