About Derby Mickleover Hotel BW Signature Collection
A sauna and jacuzzi alongside the indoor pool set Derby Mickleover Hotel BW Signature Collection apart from the average roadside stay on Etwall Road. With 99 rooms across three floors, it's a sizeable base for visiting Derby and the wider Peak District, and pets are welcome for those travelling with dogs.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, a mini bar and free WiFi, with family and accessible options available. Breakfast is served with attention to dietary needs including coeliac guests, and the restaurant, bar and snack bar cover meals through the day, backed up by room service and a lift to all floors. The gym and spa sauna give guests something to do without leaving the building, though the pool isn't always guaranteed to be open and the property's upkeep can be patchy in places.
Outside, there's a garden and free on-site parking, plus meeting rooms and wedding facilities for events. The surrounding area suits golf, fishing, cycling and walking, and there are pubs and restaurants nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel itself.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. Welcomed by Tanivi, who was so helpful and was able to check us in early. Tanivi even carried our luggage to our room. A big thank you to her. Standard room is not as it looks on the website, it does not have 2 arm chairs and it's smaller, so it was a little disappointing. The swimming pool and the sauna area is lovely, nice and clean. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, however it was the same everyday so maybe a variety of the hot breakfast would be nice. (Scrambled eggs got a bit boring every day). As the facilities were so good, we decided to stay another night but asked if we could be moved into a better room, Charlotte was absolutely brilliant at sorting that out for us and upgraded us to a exec standard room. So a big thank you Charlotte for that. It was much appreciated. We would definitely stay at Mickleover Hotel again and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you all.

Great art deco hotel with lots of history, our room was very spacious, it might have been a suite! (Not sure) Amenities where good, staff was extremely helpful! Breakfast was nice but a bit of waiting around for fresh food, rather this than soggy, Luke warm food! A fair selection! Swimming was great for my toddler, we would probably visit again. The location was ok, on top of main roads but beyond that we have lovely views for miles

It's a very nice hotel and it's dog-friendly. The people who work there are incredibly helpful and very nice, always smiling and full of positive energy. The girl at the reception desk and her smile when welcoming you to the hotel is simply amazing. The girls in the restaurant are super helpful and smiling all the time. I was really surprised by my stay at the hotel. The parking was great, the rooms were clean, so everything was perfect. The only downside was that we were only there for one day, but we will definitely be back. Best regards, 10/10

We have been to many different spas but this one is definitely NOT outlet favourite Room did not have a safe like most spas and the lights was not barely working, no extra blankets or pillows Asked 4 different staff members about trying to get a robe all of them said no in a very rude way when asked politely and said they do not have any spare they are only for the higher up rooms even when we offered to pay for the robes they still said no Walked in at breakfast it all looked disgusting the plates were filthy and even the staff member sorting them was disgusted herself, not much selection of breakfast at all and the bacon was very undercooked. We stayed 5 minutes at breakfast and ended up ordering our own from a local shop. Kids splashing at you in the pool 24/7 the parents say nothing aswell so if u want a relaxing spa trip i definitely don’t recommend and the beds are very uncomfortable and found fingernails inside the bedsheets which was disturbing.
