Premier Inn Derby West

We booked a table for breakfast and just happened to mention that it was my birthday. To my surprise when I arrived there was a card, birthday balloon and a couple packs of chocolates on our table. The staff were all so very nice, even talking to my son during the meal as he showed off his knowledge of the flags hung up around the room. Above and beyond the level of service that is required. We'll definitely be going again 😁

Clean, spacious room, comfy beds, easy food, and helpful, friendly staff. The location is ideal, close to main roads but also quiet. There's a McDonald's and Aldi nearby too, and a handy retail outlet about a mile away. The rooms don't have air conditioning, but decent fans are provided

Me and my family had to rush to Derby west Premiere inn as a relative became very ill suddenly. From our arrival at 11 pm on 10th May 2026 to our departure Tuesday 12 th the staff could not have been more compassionate, professional and so very kind. From the reception team Sean,Ami and Jack ensuring our rooms were near to each other as we had a disabled person with us and even helping me to book the accessible room to the restaurant staff Hannah, Gracie to the lovely manager Cathrine who helped in so many ways. The chef and his staff were suddenly presented with 12 tired, sad and hungry people, he managed wonderful hot and tasty meals. I would never had guessed he had only been in post for a week .What a star ! This enabled us to share some much needed respite together before we all had to split up and return home. We use Premier inn all the time because of their accessibility facilities and carers room, and on-site restaurants. We were literally a five minute walk from Derby Hospital which was ideal. We have already booked into a Premier inn for the funeral later this month. From the bottom of my family’s heart we thank them all and the housekeeper of course for going above and beyond making our stay comfortable. Thank you Derby west hotel staff.

Honestly, myself and my family cannot thank you all enough for all your support, kindness, attentiveness and friendliness throughout our stay. Each and every staff member here has been beyond amazing to us all throughout a very difficult period whilst our loved ones were in hospital, and went above and beyond every single day for us. The facilities were extremely clean, well cared for and very comfortable, and we will always be so grateful for every staff member we met whilst staying with you over the past couple weeks- we won’t ever forget you or your kindness. Thank you so, so much!❤️
