Victoria Park Hotel

This hotel needs closing down. This is apparently for the homeless and young mothers with children. This hotel has only took on council people for the money. A friend of my daughter has had to stay there with her little daughter. This has traumatised the little girl and her mum. There is banging and fighting all night nearly every night. The shared bathroom and toilet are disgusted. They can’t even use the toilet at night as she is too frightened to leave her room. There is NO heating on only from 5pm till 10pm it is freezing when they wake up. I hope and pray the council read this comment and others and do the people’s favour. They may be homeless but they are humans and need to be treated right. The council need to look into this hotel and do something about this BIG issue now before someone don’t wake up as they will be frozen 🙈😦😡

Lovely building, lovely clean room with big TV and everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom is modern and clean, it is shared but we had no issues getting in when needed. Breakfast is ample, decent quality with lots of choice. Staff friendly and welcoming. All in all excellent value for money and definitely recommended when you're on a budget.

Good facilities and reasonably clean. Rooms well equipped with kettle, microwave and fridge. Rooms are not en-suite which is not ideal if you're not in there first. Had the veggie option complimentary breakfast. This was essentially just all the non meat items with no veggie sausage. Breakfast was very wet as had combined juices from mushrooms, tin tomatoes and beans. Great self service cereals, drinks and toast. Oh, and there's a pool table and vending machines too! Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day.

Absolutely lovely place! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, free goodies, well equipped room, affordable even for students. One day we overslept but the owner made sure to have the kitchen cook breakfast for us even though it was already past breakfast hours. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. 15ish minute walk from the mall and all the shops. The breakfast was lovely. The only complain I have is that we booked a room with our own bathroom and we technically got one other customers could use as well but most ended up using the other bathroom on the floor. We would have been fine, coming from a dreadful crammed London hostel. Either way, we had a great time. I'll come again one day!
