The Dairy is a converted stone building at Cotterill Farm, part of a small complex in open countryside between Buxton and Ashbourne. It has two double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a combined living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a separate sun room that opens onto a patio. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and full fridge-freezer—and there's a shared laundry room with washer and dryer. Heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included.
Ground-floor bedroom leads to the bathroom; the second bedroom is upstairs in a galleried space. You have your own patio with garden furniture and use of a shared lawn, along with private parking for two cars. The property does not permit smoking or fireworks. A nature reserve surrounds the farm, and a bridleway from the drive leads to Hartington, a village with pubs and a shop. For cycling, the nearby Sustrans Route 54 connects two former railway trails—the High Peak and Tissington—both popular with walkers and riders. Major attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Matlock are within 30 minutes' drive, while Buxton's shops and Victorian architecture are closer.

We have just come back from a fantastic week away in The Milking Parlour. What can I say, they have thought of everything. It was the heatwave whilst we were there but as it is a stone cottage it was very cool. I would definitely recommend and will book again. Thank you so much.

Stunning cottages, all recently refurbished with superb WiFi coverage and speeds. There are loads of lovely places to visit in the local vicinity too including Hartington, Arbow Low stone circle, the Donkey Sanctuary, lots of countryside walks and plenty more. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway as you'll be tucked away from society whilst also being so close to lots of things to do. I love this part of the Peak District.

Situated in beautiful scenery down a quiet country lane these cottages are great for a little getaway. We stayed in The Granary, we had everything we needed and was very cosy and comfortable with fab views across the rolling hills and fields.
