Doves Nest

Doves Nest is a five-bedroom house sleeping ten, set just outside Ashbourne in the Derbyshire Dales. The property comes fully equipped: bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are all included, so you arrive to a ready-to-use home. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, opening through bi-fold doors to the garden. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the utility room. Heating comes from an underfloor system.

Bedrooms are spread across three floors: the first has three doubles (two are zip-and-link and can split into singles), each with its own ensuite or access to a bathroom with shower and bath. A fourth double is on the first floor, and a fifth smaller double sits on the second floor with its own ensuite. The living room has a Freeview Smart TV. Outside, a private hot tub sits on the patio with garden furniture; there is also a bike store and parking for two cars. The property is non-smoking.

Ashbourne has independent shops, restaurants and leisure facilities within the town. Walking and cycling routes abound nearby: Dovedale with its stepping stones is a short drive, as is the Tissington Trail and Carsington Water. Alton Towers is around 15 minutes away by car. One dog stays free.
