Dusty House

Ashbourne sits at the edge of the Derbyshire Dales, a market town with its own character and a proper high street. Dusty House occupies the centre of it all, a Grade II listed building spread across three storeys with on-site parking. The layout gives you a sitting room with a woodburning stove and space to eat, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom on the first floor. Bedrooms are on the second floor: one with a zip-and-link super king bed and another with a zip-and-link king. Both can be configured as twins if needed. The property sleeps four.

Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and there's a washing machine in the garage alongside tumble dryer facilities. Note that the house has low sloping door frames in places. Smoking is not permitted indoors.

From here, Dovedale and its stepping stones are within reach, and the River Dove is good for fishing. Alton Towers is roughly 20 minutes away by car. The town itself has independent shops, restaurants and bars along the Market Place.
