Goulday
Derbyshire Dales
Goulday is a stone-built bungalow on a quiet village street in Chelmorton, a hamlet deep in the White Peak between Buxton and Bakewell. Everything is on the ground floor: three bedrooms (one double with ensuite shower, one double, one twin), a family bathroom, and a combined kitchen-dining room opening onto the rear patio and garden. The living room looks out across fields and moors, with patio doors leading to the front garden.
The kitchen comes equipped to cook and entertain—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all basics included. Oil heating and electricity are covered in your booking, as are bed linen, towels and wi-fi. Two cars can park on site. The enclosed front and rear gardens (the latter with patio furniture and a barbecue) mean there's outdoor space to relax in, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. The property suits families and groups looking for a base to walk the surrounding hills or visit nearby Chatsworth and Haddon Hall; it's also convenient to Alton Towers if needed.
