Highstool View
Derbyshire Dales
Chelmorton sits between two of the Peak District's most visited towns, making Highstool View a practical base for exploring the area. Buxton offers independent shops, cafés and the Opera House; Bakewell is famous for its puddings and sits near Chatsworth House. The village itself has a pub within a mile, and walking routes start from the property. For something different, the Caverns of Castleton and Pavilion Gardens are within reach, as is Manchester city centre for a day trip.
Highstool View is a ground-floor barn conversion on a working farm, with one double bedroom and a shower room. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, equipped for cooking proper meals rather than making do. A private courtyard with garden furniture faces south and catches the sun. You have parking for two cars and Wi-Fi throughout. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and towels—are included. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine if you need it.
One well-behaved pet can stay free. Smoking is not permitted inside.
