Jemima Lodge
Derbyshire Dales
Jemima Lodge is a converted stone barn on the owners' smallholding near Froggatt, in the Derbyshire Dales. The single-storey property has a south-facing aspect and overlooks grazing land sloping down to the River Derwent. It arrives via a private drive, set back from the owners' own home, with parking for two cars on site and a large lawned garden with paved seating area and BBQ.
The open-plan ground floor contains the living space, a dining area, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer and wine cooler. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two singles, both with Freeview television. A single shower room completes the layout. The property suits groups of up to four, including families (a cot and highchair are available on request). One dog is welcome. The essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—so you can arrive and settle straight in.
Froggatt is a small, quiet village within walking distance of riverside walks and the Peak District's fell-side paths. The Derwent Valley has a string of villages to explore, and the wider area offers everything from market towns to higher moorland. No smoking indoors.
