Penny Cottage is a detached property in Bonsall, a small village in the Derbyshire Dales at the edge of the Peak District. The cottage sits directly on the Limestone Way, where walking routes lead through fields, dales and woodland. The Kings Head pub is within a mile. Access is via a steep, sloping footpath with 18 steps to the entrance.
Downstairs holds a living room with woodburner, freeview television and sound system, plus a separate dining room and kitchen equipped for full self-catering. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a double—and a shower room. The property sleeps four. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided; initial fuel for the woodburner is included. There is a garden with seating area and on-road parking.
The cottage suits couples or families wanting a quiet base for exploring the limestone landscape and nearby market towns. No smoking throughout.
