Bonsall View Cottage
Derbyshire Dales
Bonsall is a working village in the Derbyshire Dales where the landscape rolls between limestone hills and moorland. Bonsall View Cottage sits here as a 17th-century property, its top garden offering views across the surrounding countryside. The village has a pub within a mile, and walkers pass through regularly on their way to and from the surrounding footpaths.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner (initial fuel included) and Smart TV, plus a kitchen fitted with a range, dishwasher and washer-dryer for self-catering. A shower room is also on this level. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king, a double, and two singles, with a family bathroom holding both a bath and shower. The cottage sleeps 6 and is yours alone. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved dog can stay free. There is private parking for one car on site, with an electric charging point available at extra cost. Note that the garden has 10 steps. No smoking inside.
The Derbyshire Dales area offers easy access to Matlock and Matlock Bath for market shopping and riverside walks, while Bonsall itself remains quiet enough for a genuine retreat.
