An absolutely amazing family run campsite! We were lucky to be squeezed in last minute for a one-night stay, and the lady at reception was incredibly kind and welcoming. The shower facilities were spotless with lovely hot water, and the whole site offered excellent value for money. The on-site pizzas were a solid 10/10. Truly a hidden gem — places like this are hard to come by. We’ll definitely be back when travelling through the area!

What a lovely site!!! We never visit sites twice, but would go here again :) Fab staff. Well stocked shop. Great value camp fire hire. Close to loads of lid friendly days out. Amazing play area! Pugs to stroke. We visited the brewery shed a 15 min walk away on Sunday that had a bar in it and cool chairs and set up. Ran by the Brewery. Amazing!

Such an amazing place. Staff friendly and everywhere is very clean. They have two big fields for camping and although they told us it was full there was still plenty of space. A couple of things we would like though, there is a shop, and a well stocked shop as well, but no ice or wines/beers etc. There is a great craft ales venue which u highly recommend though. Also paying for showers is a big no no for us. It's 1 pound for 5 minutes. One more thing to point out is the quarry. There is a hum in the back ground but to be fair it didn't bother us. Ending on a positive, the pizzas we excellent and we cooked very quickly, there was also a fish and chip and Indian delivery service to the site, plus Ice cream van came in very handy.

Returned for the first time since 2018, which was with my eldest, this time with my middle child (3) and it’s still just as great. Facilities, location, price, extremely child friendly, great park and open secure space for kids. Onsite shop selling local produce and camping/caravanning essentials. Camp fires (weather permitting) available for £20 refundable deposit + £5 per night (logs available 2 minutes away from a local farm with an honesty box). Clean shower block £1 for 5 minutes. Will be returning in the near future, forgot how good this place was.
