River View

River View is a stone cottage standing right beside the River Bradford in Youlgreave, a small Peak District village with three pubs and two bakeries within easy reach. The house faces the water, with a bench in the front garden positioned to watch the river and hillsides. At the back, a patio with table and chairs opens onto an enclosed garden.

The ground floor holds a sitting room with a woodburner, a kitchen and dining area with a gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave, and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a desk if you need to work. Wi-Fi works throughout the cottage; heating and hot water are included. Bed linen and towels are provided. The property sleeps four.

From the door you can walk straight onto the Limestone Way, which passes in front of the house. Robin Hood's Stride is within reach, as are the neighbouring villages of Birchover, Winster and Over Haddon. A flat walk along the river itself is also possible. On-site parking covers one car; additional unrestricted parking is available opposite. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
