Great place to stop off for a drink in the hot weather, didn't have any food but looked great from what other's were eating. Been a few times, was quiet this time we went, on a Monday, so easy to park our van and find a shady spot. Good selection of drinks, will eat next time.

Beautifully renovated and maintained to a high spec, this pub marries the traditional charm of a country pub with the modern conveniences of a family friendly restaurant. I could have stayed here much longer yesterday when we had a delicious Sunday lunch of roast dinners. I had the pork roast, my friend had the chicken. Only the stuffing disappointed, I found it hard to differentiate from the pork itself. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly, cheerful staff and plenty of choice on tap and in the fridges. I'll be back with the kids and we'll make the most of the lovely outdoor space too.
