Beautiful setting. Bit shady but in the heat its quite welcome. A very well kept site. Friendly wardens, always busy doing something. Located a very short distance from carsington water. Visitor center not far away. Facilities clean and well maintained.

We typically only stay at Caravan and Motorhome Club sites because we know exactly what to expect — clean, safe, quiet, and well-equipped facilities. That said, we think we may have found a new favourite at Carsington Water! We absolutely loved our stay here. The site is beautifully located within a stunning pine forest, with amazing walks right from the doorstep and lovely nearby villages to explore, especially Ashbourne. It’s perfect for walking, cycling, and enjoying nature. The site itself was spotless, peaceful, and felt very safe throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed all the birds and wildlife around the site. The managers were also lovely, friendly, and incredibly helpful, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings. Thank you for such a lovely stay — we will definitely be back!

A lovely caravan site nice pitches with nice spaces in between the pitches. Couple of parks for the children to play on, one for smaller children and another for the older children, and space for playing games. Nice bathroom facilities which were always clean and well stocked. All site staff were welcoming and friendly, we look forward to coming back again!

There is loads of space between caravan pitches. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. The is only toilet/shower block but its fairly close to most pitches the furthest you have to walk to the toilets is 2 or 3 minutes. The toilets, showers and washing cubicles are very clean. The showers you don't have to keep your hand on a button for the water to come out. I went during school term and it was unbelievably quiet and peaceful
