What visitors say
Absolutely fabulous campsite, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sharon is a great host and the campsite is perfect for those who enjoy a quiet location. Facilities are clean and there's never a queue for loos/showers, the children loved the playing field in the middle and there's even a bar/coffee shop most weekends. For those looking for an even quieter experience, midweek in term time seems really quiet, we pretty much had the site to ourselves.

A fantastic campsite with amazing views and pitches. Sharon is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The bar is great for an evening drink and the coffee shop is also a great place for a coffee before heading out for the day. We have already booked a return trip. There are wonderful walks straight from the Campsite.

After spending the weekend at Tannenbaum, it is safe to say that this is the greatest UK campsite I have ever visited. We stayed in the converted Horsebox overlooking the Derbyshire Hills. The horsebox’s location in a separate paddock away from other campers, that overlooked the Derbyshire hills, allowed for a wonderful sunset, and a peaceful atmosphere. A great experience, that I would recommend to everyone.

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend and picked somewhere not too far from home and south of the peaks is where we decided! What a good choice, Sharon and her husband were welcoming and chatty, so comforting and made us feel at home. Their 3 lovely labs were very friendly. Dogs need to be tethered or on lead, due to ground nesting birds, the birds were great and also some bats out in the evening. This campsite is far away from main roads and towns you feel peaceful and relaxed but close enough to a pub and some infrastructure that you can get what you need. The campsite has lovely wild flowers and a great view, a small bar in the evening and a coffee shop in the morning. Perfect for when you run out of supplies or just want a nice atmosphere. The toilet facilities and showers are rugged which we loved, but suitable for this type of camping, clean and suitable. I would highly recommend this campsite if you want to get into nature and have a quiet camping adventure. Thank you again Sharon for hosting us and was nice to hear about your story of creating such a great campsite with heart, peace and nature in mind. We will be back again!
