This mid-terrace cottage dates back generations and sits in Axmouth, a small village straddling the Devon and Dorset border in the Axe Valley. The character runs through it: a wood burner warms the living room, French doors in the conservatory open onto a tiered, enclosed garden with a summerhouse and seating area, and the layout feels genuinely lived-in rather than corporate. Seaton's seaside town is a few minutes' drive away, with Lyme Regis and Sidmouth within easy reach, and a riverside walk leads a mile downhill to Axe Harbour and the long pebble beach.
The ground floor holds a living room with a Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a conservatory for dining, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a double, two singles, and a small single suitable for a child, served by a shower room. The house sleeps five. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; logs for the wood burner are provided to start, with more available locally. One car parks on site; additional spaces exist on the road. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted. There are six steps to the entrance, three steps down to the garden, and twenty steep steps to a decking area.
