Cloverfield Cottage

Cloverfield Cottage opens into a bright living room with two sofas, a TV and DVD player—the kind of space where you naturally settle in. The ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen for cooking proper meals, a dining table, and a downstairs WC. Upstairs, two double bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. A private balcony overlooks the countryside, furnished with a table and chairs for morning coffee or evening wind-down.

The cottage sits within Forest Park Lodges in Torridge, less than a mile from the coast. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; you'll have one off-road parking space. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The woodland setting opens onto forest trails and the River Taw, both accessible directly from the property for walks. High Bickington village, a short walk away, has two pubs, a post office and a golf course. Great Torrington—home to Dartington Glassworks and the RHS Garden Rosemoor—lies within easy reach by car, along with independent shops and farm shops across the surrounding villages.

No smoking inside. Check-in is after 4pm; departure before 10am.
