Coming to Croyde for some beach time? You'll be in prime position when you stay at Bay View Farm – this long-established family-run site is a few minutes' walk from the village's splendid sandy beach, with its surf waves and rockpools. Soak up sea views from your pitch (particularly stunning at sunset), then stroll down to the village's collection of shops, pubs and cafés.
Owners Janet and George have put real effort into the facilities: clean shower blocks with free hot showers, family rooms and accessible loos, plus a launderette and wetsuit-washing area. There's a large play area well away from roads, and in high season a small shop opens at reception. Log pods come with comfy beds for those after a bit more comfort, and you'll find on-site food options including chips, pizza, crêpes and breakfast. Ice pack freezing and phone charging are available for a small charge, with proceeds going to local charities.
The South West Coast Path is easily reached for walkers, and a bus stop just outside means straightforward jaunts to other North Devon spots. Note that pets aren't permitted on site.

Absolutely gushing about this spot! Firstly, it’s ideal for larger rigs (car + caravan is 13 meters). We stayed in spot 19 and had stunning sunsets every evening. The facilities are very nice and clean. The pitches are really spacious. The park is lovely for the kids. We travel with small kids which can be tough camping but you cannot fault this campsite. It’s a flat walk to the beach and so many local gems. Well def be back yearly!

Always love coming back here, feels like home away from home! Usually camp but went with the log pod this time and it was great! Bed was super comfy and a great option to go with if you're worried about the weather, you wouldn't have known there was a wind warning outside! Facilities clean and hot showers! Can't wait to come back again soon! Oh, and jam first!

We usually camp at this fabulous site but tried out a caravan in 2025 instead. Very comfortable, not bang up to date but beautifully immaculate and a lovely welcome selection of biscuits and tea too. Lovely
