About Cottage Farm Camping
Tucked on the edge of Loddiswell village, this small, relaxed farm site puts you within easy reach of South Devon's finest – a twenty-minute drive delivers you to Bigbury-on-Sea, South Milton Sands, Hope Cove or Mothecombe, while Salcombe's seafood restaurants are equally close. Walkers can set off on foot along the river Avon, threading through the South Devon National Landscape, or head to Dartmoor's moors. Kingsbridge is ten minutes away for cafés and shops; Plymouth's forty minutes when you need a bigger town fix.
Pitches are generous and level, welcoming tents, motorhomes and groups alike (dogs on leads are fine too). Facilities keep things simple – compost toilets, a washing-up station and an LPG shower available for a small extra charge. It's a no-frills, budget-friendly base that suits those happy to trade bells and whistles for space, peace and quick access to Devon's coastal glories.

What visitors say
Great hosts. Lovely quiet spot too. Good compost loos and excellent shower. Best one I’ve had on a campsite. Thank you. Beautiful sunset. Dog friendly and easy going.

Just returned home after a 3 night stay here. What a lovely little gem of a campsite, absolutely perfect for a few nights away camping. The site is a basic pop up site but ideal for what we want out of camping. It's also lovely and quiet with no light pollution so perfect for star gazing. We were lucky enough to see 10s meteors each night. The views of rolling hills from the camping field make for a lovely backdrop when enjoying your morning brew. The owners are lovely and very helpful. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Fab little campsite. We stayed here for three nights with our four year old and our friends in our motorhomes. Perfect for a quiet get away with or without children. Safe environment for children, and a small playing field with goal posts for children to have a kick around. Large pitches with plenty of room. Super friendly hosts who were very attentive and always about to make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you for making our stay great!

This is a pop-up campsite that runs for 30 days. They are considering 60. This is basic and not in a bad way. Getting here was easy enough, thanks Google Maps. The site is designed for tents, caravans and motor homes. There is no hook up. The price reflects what you get. So, there are sinks for washing up in, 2 compost toilets and a gas run shower, the latter is charged at £2 per day. Everything works as it should. So if you want uncomplicated then this is the place for you. Just outside of a village called Loddiswell, nr Kingsbridge, at the top end of an inlet (sorry not sure the property terminology) so easy access to Salcombe, Plymouth etc. And the owners are lovely, easy going couple who themselves lead busy lives with kids. So if you've got kids and come when schools out then they are liable to get visitors. I would recommend this place. Lovely party of the country. But please remember some of the roads are wickedly narrow.
