Island Lodge

I had the pleasure of storing my caravan here on and off over the last 18 months. Pixie has been a total pleasure to work with and always so helpful to me and outside contractors. I would not hesitate to recommend Island Lodge for a stay or for storage.

We’ve just returned from a peaceful stay at this superbly maintained site. Very well looked after and run by owners who obviously know what they’re doing. It also felt very safe and secure with a barrier system in place and cctv. As per all the other reviews, the facilities are spotless and we loved the wet rooms. Lovely shallow sinks for washing up (we’re used to back breaking deep ones!) and plenty of hot water. Very nice views from virtually all of the pitches. We were lucky enough to face south so made the most of the sun despite it being a bit windy on our visit. The site is in a great location for all that this wonderful area of Devon has to offer and is surrounded by stunning fields of wheat. We hope to return some day!

This caravan site was one of the best I have come across. Caravans were widely spaced around the edge of the field with a big open grassy area in the middle. It was very peaceful, the amenities were superb and each caravan location was fully set up with it's own electricity, water and waste water which could be fully connected to the caravan David & Janet

Lovely site with a helpful owner. No reflection on the site but we heard noise that we mistook for cattle being moved. The noise increased until I felt I should find out tpwhat it was. Inturned out to be the bloke in the caravan next to us murdering a guitar and trying to sing. Normally I'd have asked him to keep the noise to a less disturbing level. But he was so bad I decided he needed the practice and left him howling away. Luckily, I think his family told him they'd had enough and it stopped.
