A coastal campsite on Devon's southern point, near beaches and great countryside. Back-to-basics and dog friendly.

About East Prawle Farm Holidays

Tucked down near Devon's southern tip, East Prawle Farm Holidays is a proper back-to-basics coastal hideaway. Pitches come with electric hook-up and the site welcomes dogs, but you'll need to bring your own shower — there are toilets and fresh water, but no shower block. That stripped-back simplicity suits campers who'd rather spend their days exploring the South West Coast Path or the nearby beaches at Prawle Point than hanging around a fancy campsite.

The location more than makes up for the no-frills approach. You're a short walk from dramatic clifftop walks and some of Devon's quieter coves, with families and couples returning to a peaceful, farm-based pitch. It won't suit everyone, but if you're after a friendly, dog-welcoming spot to explore this beautiful stretch of coastline without unnecessary bells and whistles, it fits the bill nicely.

One of the best sea view camping and caravan sites in the United Kingdom. Enjoy your stay, walking and visiting the local pub, the Pigs Nose just five minutes from the campground.

What a great place and a great host! Expecting a cosy farm 'cottage' we were pleasantly surprised to find a large self-contained house that could comfortably sleep 6/7 people! As there were only 2 of us we only used one bedroom which was comfortable and roomy. This was complemented by a lovely spacious lounge-kitchen-diner, well equipped with everything you need (and more)! Marilyn was friendly and very helpful, and the complementary cream tea with home-baked scones was excellent! If i could give 6/5 i would. If you plan to stay in the area, stay here... you won't regret it 😁

Lovely quiet pitch in stunning location. We chose the pitch nearest the sea and had glorious sea views. Chocks needed to level this pitch. As a CL there were no toilets/showers and we’d brought a portaloo, but in fact just used the public toilets nearby. We didn’t use the electricity (not needed) but nice to know there’s an ehu and drinking water (which we did use) on each pitch. Didn’t meet the owner but instructions all very clear in emails.

Our second visit. A fabulous place to stay if you want stay somewhere simple with beautiful views of the sea. Set in a pretty little village with a local pub, The pig’s Nose and shop/cafe on the green. Marilyn who owns the site is super friendly and helpful. We will be back I’m sure.
