Just home from 10 fabulous nights at Parklands. The site is immaculate, as are the toilet and bathroom facilities. Each pitch has its own picket fence and picnic bench, with beautifully kept gardens. Tracey and James are really helpful, and the digital guide is really well thought out. The bus stop right outside is brilliant - we've used the buses almost daily to get around. Lastly, must mention the onsite honesty shop - it is so well stocked, and not over priced, and cowshed which offers complimentary tea and coffee - and most importantly this week .....ice .

First visit to this site as a tourer. Location ideal, didn't need to move our vehicle as frequent buses on the doorstep to get to various destinations, without worrying about parking. Pitch was ideal, so peaceful, pretty flower beds. Shop on site open 24/7. Reasonable prices & everything you can think of. Plenty of toilets/Showers beautifully clean. Views across the countryside breathtaking. Very friendly people always available. TV lounge, with complimentary tea/coffee. Literally home from home. This site has jumped to the no.1 slot for us. We stayed at Parkland touring site for seven nights and had a really relaxing and wonderful time there. Tracey and James the owners and delightful. Friendly helpful and always ready to offer advice regarding the local area and which bus service to catch. They have a "honestly shop" open 24hrs where you write down in a note book what you've purchased and then either pay there and then or at the end of your stay. Brilliant! The shop itself sells everything, and I mean everything. From groceries and alcohol, kitchen utensils to handbags and camping/caravaning equipment. The pitches are a mixture of hardstanding and grass with some having their own toilet and shower rooms. The toilet blocks, two of them, consists of individual toilet and shower/bathrooms that are spotlessly clean. Parkland is a wonderful site straight off the main road and so peaceful and quiet. The best thing......No children and No dogs.......

Would not hesitate staying here again. Great location, very clean and tidy, especially around the pitches. Great facilities and staff, especially Oli, who helped with our awning. If I were to be slightly critical I would say that the central area around the shop, toilets and shower is a little untidy and cluttered, could just do with a tidy up, not even needing to spend anything, just a clear up, apart from that it was perfect.
